Kathryn from Australia is the wonderfully sweet and friendly owner of My Shabby Cottage on Etsy.

You all know I love Shabby Chic style. I've said it several dozen times, and many of my shopping posts are about handmade and vintage shabby chic items (particularly handbags). When I typed in "shabby chic" in Etsy's search engine, I found some lovely items in this shop.

My Shabby Cottage offers handmade bags, small dolls, handbag-inspired doorstops, and something really cute called the Hairclips Tidy. I am thinking my 3 year old niece, Matilda, might like one of these for her room. I often give her decorate handmade clips from Etsy and this would be great! The Hairclips Tidy is unique--it looks like a piece of clothing, and is made out of beautiful fabrics. The one I have pictured is a Laura Ashley fabric and would be such a pretty gift for that special little girl in your life.

I have had that beautiful handbag in my Etsy Favorites list for several weeks now. It is gorgeous!
